101:1ٱلْقَارِعَةُ
101:1THE STARTLING CALAMITY. - Ahmed Ali (English)
101:2مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ
101:2What is the startling calamity? - Ahmed Ali (English)
101:3وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ
101:3How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- - Ahmed Ali (English)
101:4يَوْمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلْفَرَاشِ ٱلْمَبْثُوثِ
101:4A Day on which human beings would be like so many scattered moths, - Ahmed Ali (English)
101:5وَتَكُونُ ٱلْجِبَالُ كَٱلْعِهْنِ ٱلْمَنفُوشِ
101:5The mountains like the tufts of carded wool. - Ahmed Ali (English)
101:6فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ
101:6Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale - Ahmed Ali (English)
101:7فَهُوَ فِى عِيشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍ
101:7Will have a tranquil life; - Ahmed Ali (English)
101:8وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ
101:8But he whose deeds are lighter in the balance - Ahmed Ali (English)
101:9فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٌ
101:9Will have the Abyss for abode. - Ahmed Ali (English)
101:10وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا هِيَهْ
101:10How will you comprehend what that is? - Ahmed Ali (English)
101:11نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌۢ
101:11It is the scorching fire. - Ahmed Ali (English)
