بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
36:1يسٓ
36:1YA SIN. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:2وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ ٱلْحَكِيمِ
36:2I call to witness the Qur'an, custodian of all laws, -- - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:3إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
36:3That you are indeed one of those sent - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:4عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
36:4On a path that is straight, -- - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:5تَنزِيلَ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
36:5A revelation from the mighty, ever-merciful (God), - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:6لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّآ أُنذِرَ ءَابَآؤُهُمْ فَهُمْ غَـٰفِلُونَ
36:6That you may warn a people whose ancestors had never been warned, who are therefore heedless. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:7لَقَدْ حَقَّ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَىٰٓ أَكْثَرِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
36:7The sentence is surely justified against most of them, for they do not believe. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:8إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِىٓ أَعْنَـٰقِهِمْ أَغْلَـٰلًا فَهِىَ إِلَى ٱلْأَذْقَانِ فَهُم مُّقْمَحُونَ
36:8We will certainly put iron collars on their heel's which will come up to their chins, so that they will not be able to raise their heads. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:9وَجَعَلْنَا مِنۢ بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ سَدًّا وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّا فَأَغْشَيْنَـٰهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ
36:9And We shall raise a barrier in front of them and a barrier behind them, and cover them over so that they will not be able to see. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:10وَسَوَآءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنذِرْهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
36:10Whether you warn them or do not warn, it is all the same; they will not believe. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:11إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلذِّكْرَ وَخَشِىَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنَ بِٱلْغَيْبِ ۖ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِمَغْفِرَةٍ وَأَجْرٍ كَرِيمٍ
36:11You can only warn him who listens to the warning and fears Ar-Rahman secretly. So give him good news of forgiveness and a generous reward. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:12إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْىِ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوا۟ وَءَاثَـٰرَهُمْ ۚ وَكُلَّ شَىْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَـٰهُ فِىٓ إِمَامٍ مُّبِينٍ
36:12It is We indeed who bring back the dead to life, and write down what they send ahead (of their deeds), and traces that they leave behind. We keep an account of all things in a lucid register. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:13وَٱضْرِبْ لَهُم مَّثَلًا أَصْحَـٰبَ ٱلْقَرْيَةِ إِذْ جَآءَهَا ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ
36:13Narrate to them the example of the people of the city when the messengers came to it. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:14إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَيْهِمُ ٱثْنَيْنِ فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَعَزَّزْنَا بِثَالِثٍ فَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّآ إِلَيْكُم مُّرْسَلُونَ
36:14When We sent two of them they called them liars; so We sent a third to strengthen them. "We have been sent to you," they said. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:15قَالُوا۟ مَآ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا وَمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ مِن شَىْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا تَكْذِبُونَ
36:15"You are only men like us," they replied; "Ar-Rahman has not sent down any thing. You are speaking only lies." - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:16قَالُوا۟ رَبُّنَا يَعْلَمُ إِنَّآ إِلَيْكُمْ لَمُرْسَلُونَ
36:16(The messengers) said: "Our Lord knows that we have been sent to you. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:17وَمَا عَلَيْنَآ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَـٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ
36:17Our duty is to convey the message clearly." - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:18قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا تَطَيَّرْنَا بِكُمْ ۖ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهُوا۟ لَنَرْجُمَنَّكُمْ وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
36:18They rejoined: "We feel you augur ill. If you do not desist, we shall stone you to death, and inflict a grievous punishment on you." - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:19قَالُوا۟ طَـٰٓئِرُكُم مَّعَكُمْ ۚ أَئِن ذُكِّرْتُم ۚ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّسْرِفُونَ
36:19(The messengers) said: "The augury is within your own selves. Do you (consider it a bad omen) that you should be warned? You are a people guilty of excess." - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:20وَجَآءَ مِنْ أَقْصَا ٱلْمَدِينَةِ رَجُلٌ يَسْعَىٰ قَالَ يَـٰقَوْمِ ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
36:20Then a man came running from the other side of the city. "O my people," he said, "follow the messengers. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:21ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ مَن لَّا يَسْـَٔلُكُمْ أَجْرًا وَهُم مُّهْتَدُونَ
36:21Follow those who do not ask for any recompense of you, and are rightly guided. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:22وَمَا لِىَ لَآ أَعْبُدُ ٱلَّذِى فَطَرَنِى وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
36:22Why should I not worship Him who brought me into being, to whom you will be brought back in the end? - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:23ءَأَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةً إِن يُرِدْنِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ بِضُرٍّ لَّا تُغْنِ عَنِّى شَفَـٰعَتُهُمْ شَيْـًٔا وَلَا يُنقِذُونِ
36:23Should I take other gods apart from Him, who would neither be able to intercede for me nor save me if Ar-Rahman brings me harm? - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:24إِنِّىٓ إِذًا لَّفِى ضَلَـٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ
36:24In that case I would surely be in clear error. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:25إِنِّىٓ ءَامَنتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَٱسْمَعُونِ
36:25I believe in your Lord, so listen to me." - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:26قِيلَ ٱدْخُلِ ٱلْجَنَّةَ ۖ قَالَ يَـٰلَيْتَ قَوْمِى يَعْلَمُونَ
36:26(But they stoned him to death.) It was said to him: "Enter Paradise;" and he said: "If only my people knew - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:27بِمَا غَفَرَ لِى رَبِّى وَجَعَلَنِى مِنَ ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ
36:27How my Lord has forgiven me and made me one of those who are honoured!" - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:28۞ وَمَآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ مِن جُندٍ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا كُنَّا مُنزِلِينَ
36:28We did not send down any army against his people from heaven, nor did We have to send one. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:29إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَٰحِدَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ خَـٰمِدُونَ
36:29There was just one blast, and they were extinguished. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:30يَـٰحَسْرَةً عَلَى ٱلْعِبَادِ ۚ مَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
36:30Alas for men! No apostle ever came to them but they made fun of him. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:31أَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْقُرُونِ أَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ
36:31Have they not seen how many generations have We destroyed before them who will not return again? - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:32وَإِن كُلٌّ لَّمَّا جَمِيعٌ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ
36:32They will all be brought together before Us. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:33وَءَايَةٌ لَّهُمُ ٱلْأَرْضُ ٱلْمَيْتَةُ أَحْيَيْنَـٰهَا وَأَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهَا حَبًّا فَمِنْهُ يَأْكُلُونَ
36:33There is a sign in the dead earth for them which We quicken, and produce from it grain which they eat. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:34وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا جَنَّـٰتٍ مِّن نَّخِيلٍ وَأَعْنَـٰبٍ وَفَجَّرْنَا فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلْعُيُونِ
36:34We have laid out gardens of dates and grapes upon it, and made springs of water flow, - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:35لِيَأْكُلُوا۟ مِن ثَمَرِهِۦ وَمَا عَمِلَتْهُ أَيْدِيهِمْ ۖ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ
36:35So that they may eat of its fruit; yet it was not done by their hands. Then why do they not acknowledge thanks? - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:36سُبْحَـٰنَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلْأَزْوَٰجَ كُلَّهَا مِمَّا تُنۢبِتُ ٱلْأَرْضُ وَمِنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَمِمَّا لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
36:36All glory to Him who created pairs of everything that grows from the earth, and out of themselves, and other things they do not know. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:37وَءَايَةٌ لَّهُمُ ٱلَّيْلُ نَسْلَخُ مِنْهُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فَإِذَا هُم مُّظْلِمُونَ
36:37And there is a sign in the night for them. We strip off the day from it and they are left in darkness, - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:38وَٱلشَّمْسُ تَجْرِى لِمُسْتَقَرٍّ لَّهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْعَلِيمِ
36:38While the sun keeps revolving in its orbit. This is the dispensation of the mighty, all-knowing (God). - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:39وَٱلْقَمَرَ قَدَّرْنَـٰهُ مَنَازِلَ حَتَّىٰ عَادَ كَٱلْعُرْجُونِ ٱلْقَدِيمِ
36:39We have determined the stations of the moon, so that (after its wanderings) it returns as a dried up inflorescent spike of dates. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:40لَا ٱلشَّمْسُ يَنۢبَغِى لَهَآ أَن تُدْرِكَ ٱلْقَمَرَ وَلَا ٱلَّيْلُ سَابِقُ ٱلنَّهَارِ ۚ وَكُلٌّ فِى فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ
36:40Neither can the sun overtake the moon, nor the night outpace the day: Each of them keeps coursing in its orbit. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:41وَءَايَةٌ لَّهُمْ أَنَّا حَمَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ فِى ٱلْفُلْكِ ٱلْمَشْحُونِ
36:41That We bore their progeny in the laden ark is a sign for them; - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:42وَخَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّن مِّثْلِهِۦ مَا يَرْكَبُونَ
36:42And We made similar vessels for them to ride. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:43وَإِن نَّشَأْ نُغْرِقْهُمْ فَلَا صَرِيخَ لَهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنقَذُونَ
36:43We could have drowned them if We pleased, and none would have answered their cry for help, nor would they have been saved, - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:44إِلَّا رَحْمَةً مِّنَّا وَمَتَـٰعًا إِلَىٰ حِينٍ
36:44Unless by Our benevolence, to reap advantage for a time. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:45وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱتَّقُوا۟ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَمَا خَلْفَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
36:45When it is said to them: "Beware of what is before you and what is past, that you may be treated with kindness;" - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:46وَمَا تَأْتِيهِم مِّنْ ءَايَةٍ مِّنْ ءَايَـٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ
36:46None of the signs of their Lord ever comes to them but they turn away from it. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:47وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ أَنفِقُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَنُطْعِمُ مَن لَّوْ يَشَآءُ ٱللَّهُ أَطْعَمَهُۥٓ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَـٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ
36:47When they are told: "Spend of what God has given you," the unbelievers say to those who believe: "Why should we feed those whom God should have fed if He pleased?" You are only in palpable error. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:48وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَـٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ
36:48And they say: "When will this promise come to pass, if what you say is true?" - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:49مَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَٰحِدَةً تَأْخُذُهُمْ وَهُمْ يَخِصِّمُونَ
36:49They are only waiting for a single blast that will seize them, but they will go on contending. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:50فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ تَوْصِيَةً وَلَآ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
36:50Then they would not be able to make a will, or go back to their people. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:51وَنُفِخَ فِى ٱلصُّورِ فَإِذَا هُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَجْدَاثِ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَنسِلُونَ
36:51When the trumpet blast is sounded they will come out of their graves and hasten to their Lord, - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:52قَالُوا۟ يَـٰوَيْلَنَا مَنۢ بَعَثَنَا مِن مَّرْقَدِنَا ۜ ۗ هَـٰذَا مَا وَعَدَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ وَصَدَقَ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ
36:52Saying: "Ah woe, who has roused us from our sleep?" This is what Ar-Rahman had promised, and whose truth the apostles had affirmed. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:53إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَٰحِدَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ جَمِيعٌ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ
36:53It would be but a single blast of the trumpet, and they would all be arraigned before Us. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:54فَٱلْيَوْمَ لَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَيْـًٔا وَلَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
36:54No soul will be wronged the least that Day, nor would be recompensed but only for what it had done. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:55إِنَّ أَصْحَـٰبَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ٱلْيَوْمَ فِى شُغُلٍ فَـٰكِهُونَ
36:55Surely the inmates of Paradise will be engaged in pastimes. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:56هُمْ وَأَزْوَٰجُهُمْ فِى ظِلَـٰلٍ عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ مُتَّكِـُٔونَ
36:56They and their companions will recline on couches in the shade. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:57لَهُمْ فِيهَا فَـٰكِهَةٌ وَلَهُم مَّا يَدَّعُونَ
36:57For them will be fruits and whatever they ask. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:58سَلَـٰمٌ قَوْلًا مِّن رَّبٍّ رَّحِيمٍ
36:58"Peace" shall be the greeting from the merciful Lord. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:59وَٱمْتَـٰزُوا۟ ٱلْيَوْمَ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ
36:59(And the guilty will be told:) "O sinners, separate yourselves this day. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:60۞ أَلَمْ أَعْهَدْ إِلَيْكُمْ يَـٰبَنِىٓ ءَادَمَ أَن لَّا تَعْبُدُوا۟ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنَ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ
36:60Did I not commit you, O children of Adam, not to worship Satan who is your acknowledged foe, - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:61وَأَنِ ٱعْبُدُونِى ۚ هَـٰذَا صِرَٰطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ
36:61But to serve Me; (that) this is the straight path? - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:62وَلَقَدْ أَضَلَّ مِنكُمْ جِبِلًّا كَثِيرًا ۖ أَفَلَمْ تَكُونُوا۟ تَعْقِلُونَ
36:62But he beguiled a great many of you. Why did you not then understand? - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:63هَـٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِى كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ
36:63This is the Hell that you were promised. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:64ٱصْلَوْهَا ٱلْيَوْمَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ
36:64Roast in it now for having disbelieved." - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:65ٱلْيَوْمَ نَخْتِمُ عَلَىٰٓ أَفْوَٰهِهِمْ وَتُكَلِّمُنَآ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَتَشْهَدُ أَرْجُلُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ
36:65We shall seal their lips that day; and their hands will speak, their feet testify to what they had done. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:66وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَطَمَسْنَا عَلَىٰٓ أَعْيُنِهِمْ فَٱسْتَبَقُوا۟ ٱلصِّرَٰطَ فَأَنَّىٰ يُبْصِرُونَ
36:66We could take away their sight if We pleased; then they would run around to find the way: But how then would they see? - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:67وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَمَسَخْنَـٰهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِهِمْ فَمَا ٱسْتَطَـٰعُوا۟ مُضِيًّا وَلَا يَرْجِعُونَ
36:67And if We pleased We could paralyse them in their tracks, and they would not be able to move forward or turn back. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:68وَمَن نُّعَمِّرْهُ نُنَكِّسْهُ فِى ٱلْخَلْقِ ۖ أَفَلَا يَعْقِلُونَ
36:68Whoever reaches old age, We reverse in natural disposition. Do they not have sense (to see)? - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:69وَمَا عَلَّمْنَـٰهُ ٱلشِّعْرَ وَمَا يَنۢبَغِى لَهُۥٓ ۚ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ وَقُرْءَانٌ مُّبِينٌ
36:69We have not taught (Muhammad) to versify, nor is it worthy of him. This is nothing but a reminder and illuminating discourse, - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:70لِّيُنذِرَ مَن كَانَ حَيًّا وَيَحِقَّ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَى ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
36:70So that he may warn him who is alive and feels, and justify the word against those who do not believe. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:71أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّمَّا عَمِلَتْ أَيْدِينَآ أَنْعَـٰمًا فَهُمْ لَهَا مَـٰلِكُونَ
36:71Do they not see the cattle among things We have fashioned by Our power, which they own, - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:72وَذَلَّلْنَـٰهَا لَهُمْ فَمِنْهَا رَكُوبُهُمْ وَمِنْهَا يَأْكُلُونَ
36:72Whom We made subservient to them so that some of them they ride and some they eat? - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:73وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا مَنَـٰفِعُ وَمَشَارِبُ ۖ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ
36:73And they derive other advantages and drinks from them. Even then they do not offer thanks, - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:74وَٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةً لَّعَلَّهُمْ يُنصَرُونَ
36:74And take other gods apart from God that they may perhaps give them help. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:75لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَهُمْ وَهُمْ لَهُمْ جُندٌ مُّحْضَرُونَ
36:75They will not be able to help them and will be brought (to Us) as their levied troops. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:76فَلَا يَحْزُنكَ قَوْلُهُمْ ۘ إِنَّا نَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ
36:76So be not grieved by what they say. We certainly know what they hide and disclose. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:77أَوَلَمْ يَرَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَـٰهُ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌ مُّبِينٌ
36:77Does not man see We created him from a drop of semen? Even then he becomes an open contender, - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:78وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلًا وَنَسِىَ خَلْقَهُۥ ۖ قَالَ مَن يُحْىِ ٱلْعِظَـٰمَ وَهِىَ رَمِيمٌ
36:78And applies comparisons to Us, having forgotten his origin, and says: "Who can put life into decayed bones?" - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:79قُلْ يُحْيِيهَا ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنشَأَهَآ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ ۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلْقٍ عَلِيمٌ
36:79Say: "He who created you the first time. He has knowledge of every creation, - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:80ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلشَّجَرِ ٱلْأَخْضَرِ نَارًا فَإِذَآ أَنتُم مِّنْهُ تُوقِدُونَ
36:80Who gave you fire from a green tree, with which you ignite the flame." - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:81أَوَلَيْسَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِقَـٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يَخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُم ۚ بَلَىٰ وَهُوَ ٱلْخَلَّـٰقُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
36:81How can He who created the heavens and the earth not be able to create others like them? Why not? He is the real creator all-knowing. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:82إِنَّمَآ أَمْرُهُۥٓ إِذَآ أَرَادَ شَيْـًٔا أَن يَقُولَ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ
36:82When He wills a thing He has only to say: "Be," and it is. - Ahmed Ali (English)
36:83فَسُبْحَـٰنَ ٱلَّذِى بِيَدِهِۦ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
