بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
77:1وَٱلْمُرْسَلَـٰتِ عُرْفًا
77:1I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively, - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:2فَٱلْعَـٰصِفَـٰتِ عَصْفًا
77:2And those that strike violently, - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:3وَٱلنَّـٰشِرَٰتِ نَشْرًا
77:3And those that revive by quickening, - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:4فَٱلْفَـٰرِقَـٰتِ فَرْقًا
77:4And those that distinguish distinctly, - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:5فَٱلْمُلْقِيَـٰتِ ذِكْرًا
77:5And those that bring down the Reminder - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:6عُذْرًا أَوْ نُذْرًا
77:6To end all argument or to warn. - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:7إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَٰقِعٌ
77:7What is promised will surely come to pass. - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:8فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ
77:8When the stars are obliterated, - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:9وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتْ
77:9The heavens split asunder, - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:10وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ
77:10The mountains reduced to dust and blown away, - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:11وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ
77:11And when the time comes for raising the little girls (buried alive) -- - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:12لِأَىِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ
77:12For what day is that time fixed? - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:13لِيَوْمِ ٱلْفَصْلِ
77:13The Day of Judgement. - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:14وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ
77:14How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:15وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
77:15Alas the woe that day for those who deny! - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:16أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
77:16Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:17ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ
77:17So shall We make the later ones to follow them. - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:18كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
77:18That is what We shall do to those who are guilty of crime. - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:19وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
77:19Alas the woe that day for those who deny! - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:20أَلَمْ نَخْلُقكُّم مِّن مَّآءٍ مَّهِينٍ
77:20Did We not create you from contemptible water? - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:21فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُ فِى قَرَارٍ مَّكِينٍ
77:21Then We lodged you in a secure place (the womb) - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:22إِلَىٰ قَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ
77:22For a certain appointed time, - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:23فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْقَـٰدِرُونَ
77:23Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:24وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
77:24Alas the woe that day for those who deny! - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:25أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا
77:25Have We not made the earth a repository - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:26أَحْيَآءً وَأَمْوَٰتًا
77:26For the living and the dead, - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:27وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ شَـٰمِخَـٰتٍ وَأَسْقَيْنَـٰكُم مَّآءً فُرَاتًا
77:27And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:28وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
77:28Alas the woe that day for those who deny! - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:29ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ
77:29"Go to what you used to deny; - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:30ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّ ذِى ثَلَـٰثِ شُعَبٍ
77:30Go to the shadow with three ramifications, - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:31لَّا ظَلِيلٍ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ
77:31Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:32إِنَّهَا تَرْمِى بِشَرَرٍ كَٱلْقَصْرِ
77:32It will throw out sparks as logs of wood - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:33كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَـٰلَتٌ صُفْرٌ
77:33So like golden camels." - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:34وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
77:34Alas the woe that day for those who deny! - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:35هَـٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ
77:35They will not be able to speak that day, - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:36وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ
77:36Nor given leave to make excuses. - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:37وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
77:37Alas the woe that day for those who deny! - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:38هَـٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ۖ جَمَعْنَـٰكُمْ وَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
77:38That will be the Day of Reckoning. Gathered will be (you) and the earlier (generations). - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:39فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌ فَكِيدُونِ
77:39So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it. - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:40وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
77:40Alas the woe that day for those who deny! - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:41إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى ظِلَـٰلٍ وَعُيُونٍ
77:41Those who take heed for themselves and fear God, will be amidst shade and springs of water, - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:42وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ
77:42And such fruits as they desire. - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:43كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
77:43"Eat and drink with relish as reward for what you had done." - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:44إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
77:44That is how We reward the good. - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:45وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
77:45Alas the woe that day for those who deny! - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:46كُلُوا۟ وَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجْرِمُونَ
77:46Eat and enjoy for a while: You are certainly sinners. - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:47وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
77:47Alas the woe that day for those who deny! - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:48وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱرْكَعُوا۟ لَا يَرْكَعُونَ
77:48When it is said to them: "Bow in homage," they do not bow. - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:49وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
77:49Alas the woe that day for those who deny! - Ahmed Ali (English)
77:50فَبِأَىِّ حَدِيثٍۭ بَعْدَهُۥ يُؤْمِنُونَ
77:50In what other lore after this will they then believe? - Ahmed Ali (English)
