وَتِلْكَ عَادٌ ۖ جَحَدُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ وَعَصَوْا۟ رُسُلَهُۥ وَٱتَّبَعُوٓا۟ أَمْرَ كُلِّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ

That was Aad; they denied the signs of their Lord, and defied His messengers, and followed the lead of every stubborn tyrant. - Talal Itani (English)
