كَأَن لَّمْ يَغْنَوْا۟ فِيهَآ ۗ أَلَآ إِنَّ ثَمُودَا۟ كَفَرُوا۟ رَبَّهُمْ ۗ أَلَا بُعْدًا لِّثَمُودَ

as though they had never lived there before. Oh, verily the Thamud denied their Lord! Oh, the Thamud were destroyed. - Abul Ala Maududi (English)
