أَوَكُلَّمَا عَـٰهَدُوا۟ عَهْدًا نَّبَذَهُۥ فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُم ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

Has it not always been so that every time they made a covenant, some of them set it aside? Nay, most of them never believe in it sincerely. - Abul Ala Maududi (English)
