2:134
تِلْكَ أُمَّةٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ ۖ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَلَكُم مَّا كَسَبْتُمْ ۖ وَلَا تُسْـَٔلُونَ عَمَّا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ
2:134
That was a community that has passed; for them is what they have earned, and for you is what you have earned; and you will not be questioned about what they used to do. - Talal Itani (English)
