بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

2:17
مَثَلُهُمْ كَمَثَلِ ٱلَّذِى ٱسْتَوْقَدَ نَارًا فَلَمَّآ أَضَآءَتْ مَا حَوْلَهُۥ ذَهَبَ ٱللَّهُ بِنُورِهِمْ وَتَرَكَهُمْ فِى ظُلُمَـٰتٍ لَّا يُبْصِرُونَ
2:17
Their example is like one who kindled a fire, and when it lit all around him, Allah took away their light and left them in darkness. They could not see. - Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish (English)
