وَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرْيَةٍ أَمْلَيْتُ لَهَا وَهِىَ ظَالِمَةٌ ثُمَّ أَخَذْتُهَا وَإِلَىَّ ٱلْمَصِيرُ

And to many a township did I give respite although they were oppressors; then I seized them; and towards Me is the return. - Ahmed Raza Khan (English)
