27:80
إِنَّكَ لَا تُسْمِعُ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَلَا تُسْمِعُ ٱلصُّمَّ ٱلدُّعَآءَ إِذَا وَلَّوْا۟ مُدْبِرِينَ

Surely you cannot make the dead hear you, nor can you make the deaf hear your call if they turn back in flight, - Abul Ala Maududi (English)
