وَكَيْفَ تَأْخُذُونَهُۥ وَقَدْ أَفْضَىٰ بَعْضُكُمْ إِلَىٰ بَعْضٍ وَأَخَذْنَ مِنكُم مِّيثَـٰقًا غَلِيظًا

How can you take it away after each one has enjoyed the other, and they have taken a firm covenant from you? - Abul Ala Maududi (English)
