7:4
وَكَم مِّن قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَـٰهَا فَجَآءَهَا بَأْسُنَا بَيَـٰتًا أَوْ هُمْ قَآئِلُونَ

How many a city We have destroyed! Our might came upon it at night, or while they took their ease in the noontide, - A. J. Arberry (English)
