بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

8:33
وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَأَنتَ فِيهِمْ ۚ وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ مُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَهُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ

But God would not punish them while you [Prophet] were in their midst, nor would He punish them so long as they sought forgiveness. - Wahiduddin Khan (English)
