بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
105:1أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلْفِيلِ
105:1HAVE YOU NOT seen how your Lord dealt with the people of the elephants? - Ahmed Ali (English)
105:2أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِى تَضْلِيلٍ
105:2Did He not make their plan go wrong, - Ahmed Ali (English)
105:3وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ
105:3And sent hordes of chargers flying against them, - Ahmed Ali (English)
105:4تَرْمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٍ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ
105:4(While) you were pelting them with stones of porphyritic lava, - Ahmed Ali (English)
105:5فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَّأْكُولٍۭ
105:5And turned them into pastured fields of corn? - Ahmed Ali (English)
