23:76
وَلَقَدْ أَخَذْنَـٰهُم بِٱلْعَذَابِ فَمَا ٱسْتَكَانُوا۟ لِرَبِّهِمْ وَمَا يَتَضَرَّعُونَ

And assuredly We took hold of them with the torment, yet they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor did they entreat. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
