6:42
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أُمَمٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَأَخَذْنَـٰهُم بِٱلْبَأْسَآءِ وَٱلضَّرَّآءِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَضَرَّعُونَ
6:42
We sent messengers to communities before you, and We afflicted them with suffering and hardship, that they may humble themselves. - Talal Itani (English)
