بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
95:1
وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيْتُونِ
95:1
By the fig and the olive; - Abul Ala Maududi (English)

وَطُورِ سِينِينَ
95:2
and by the Mount Sinai, - Abul Ala Maududi (English)
95:3
وَهَـٰذَا ٱلْبَلَدِ ٱلْأَمِينِ
95:3
and by this city (of Makkah), a haven of peace: - Abul Ala Maududi (English)
95:4
لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ فِىٓ أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ
95:4
surely We created man in the best mould; - Abul Ala Maududi (English)
95:5
ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَـٰهُ أَسْفَلَ سَـٰفِلِينَ
95:5
then We reverted him to the lowest of the low, - Abul Ala Maududi (English)
95:6
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ
95:6
except those who have faith and do righteous deeds. Theirs is a never ending reward. - Abul Ala Maududi (English)

فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِٱلدِّينِ
95:7
Who, then, can give the lie to you, (O Prophet), about the Reward and the Punishment? - Abul Ala Maududi (English)

أَلَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ ٱلْحَـٰكِمِينَ
95:8
Is not Allah the Greatest of all sovereigns? - Abul Ala Maududi (English)
