Transliteration
Wahiduddin Khan
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
15:1
الٓر ۚ تِلْكَ ءَايَـٰتُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ وَقُرْءَانٍ مُّبِينٍ
15:1
Alif. Lam. Ra. These are verses of the Scripture and a plain Reading. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:2
رُّبَمَا يَوَدُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَوْ كَانُوا۟ مُسْلِمِينَ
15:2
It may be that those who disbelieve wish ardently that they were Muslims. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:3
ذَرْهُمْ يَأْكُلُوا۟ وَيَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ وَيُلْهِهِمُ ٱلْأَمَلُ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
15:3
Let them eat and enjoy life, and let (false) hope beguile them. They will come to know! - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:4
وَمَآ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا وَلَهَا كِتَابٌ مَّعْلُومٌ
15:4
And We destroyed no township but there was a known decree for it. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:5
مَّا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ
15:5
No nation can outstrip its term nor can they lag behind. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:6
وَقَالُوا۟ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِى نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ ٱلذِّكْرُ إِنَّكَ لَمَجْنُونٌ
15:6
And they say: O thou unto whom the Reminder is revealed, lo! thou art indeed a madman! - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:7
لَّوْ مَا تَأْتِينَا بِٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ
15:7
Why bringest thou not angels unto us, if thou art of the truthful? - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:8
مَا نُنَزِّلُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَمَا كَانُوٓا۟ إِذًا مُّنظَرِينَ
15:8
We send not down the angels save with the Fact, and in that case (the disbelievers) would not be tolerated. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:9
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا ٱلذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ لَحَـٰفِظُونَ
15:9
Lo! We, even We, reveal the Reminder, and lo! We verily are its Guardian. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:10
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ فِى شِيَعِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
15:10
We verily sent (messengers) before thee among the factions of the men of old. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:11
وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
15:11
And never came there unto them a messenger but they did mock him. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:12
كَذَٰلِكَ نَسْلُكُهُۥ فِى قُلُوبِ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
15:12
Thus do We make it traverse the hearts of the guilty: - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:13
لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِۦ ۖ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ سُنَّةُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
15:13
They believe not therein, though the example of the men of old hath gone before. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:14
وَلَوْ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَابًا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَظَلُّوا۟ فِيهِ يَعْرُجُونَ
15:14
And even if We opened unto them a gate of heaven and they kept mounting through it, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:15
لَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَا سُكِّرَتْ أَبْصَـٰرُنَا بَلْ نَحْنُ قَوْمٌ مَّسْحُورُونَ
15:15
They would say: Our sight is wrong - nay, but we are folk bewitched. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:16
وَلَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ بُرُوجًا وَزَيَّنَّـٰهَا لِلنَّـٰظِرِينَ
15:16
And verily in the heaven we have set mansions of the stars, and We have beautified it for beholders. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:17
وَحَفِظْنَـٰهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْطَـٰنٍ رَّجِيمٍ
15:17
And We have guarded it from every outcast devil, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:18
إِلَّا مَنِ ٱسْتَرَقَ ٱلسَّمْعَ فَأَتْبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٌ مُّبِينٌ
15:18
Save him who stealeth the hearing, and them doth a clear flame pursue. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:19
وَٱلْأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَـٰهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ وَأَنۢبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ مَّوْزُونٍ
15:19
And the earth have We spread out, and placed therein firm hills, and caused each seemly thing to grow therein. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:20
وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَـٰيِشَ وَمَن لَّسْتُمْ لَهُۥ بِرَٰزِقِينَ
15:20
And we have given unto you livelihoods therein, and unto those for whom ye provide not. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:21
وَإِن مِّن شَىْءٍ إِلَّا عِندَنَا خَزَآئِنُهُۥ وَمَا نُنَزِّلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا بِقَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ
15:21
And there is not a thing but with Us are the stores thereof. And we send it not down save in appointed measure. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:22
وَأَرْسَلْنَا ٱلرِّيَـٰحَ لَوَٰقِحَ فَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَأَسْقَيْنَـٰكُمُوهُ وَمَآ أَنتُمْ لَهُۥ بِخَـٰزِنِينَ
15:22
And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:23
وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ نُحْىِۦ وَنُمِيتُ وَنَحْنُ ٱلْوَٰرِثُونَ
15:23
Lo! and it is We, even We, Who quicken and give death, and We are the Inheritor. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:24
وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا ٱلْمُسْتَقْدِمِينَ مِنكُمْ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا ٱلْمُسْتَـْٔخِرِينَ
15:24
And verily We know the eager among you and verily We know the laggards. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:25
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ
15:25
Lo! thy Lord will gather them together. Lo! He is Wise, Aware. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:26
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مِن صَلْصَـٰلٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
15:26
Verily We created man of potter's clay of black mud altered, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:27
وَٱلْجَآنَّ خَلَقْنَـٰهُ مِن قَبْلُ مِن نَّارِ ٱلسَّمُومِ
15:27
And the jinn did We create aforetime of essential fire. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:28
وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّى خَـٰلِقٌۢ بَشَرًا مِّن صَلْصَـٰلٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
15:28
And (remember) when thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am creating a mortal out of potter's clay of black mud altered, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:29
فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُۥ وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِى فَقَعُوا۟ لَهُۥ سَـٰجِدِينَ
15:29
So, when I have made him and have breathed into him of My Spirit, do ye fall down, prostrating yourselves unto him. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:30
فَسَجَدَ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ كُلُّهُمْ أَجْمَعُونَ
15:30
So the angels fell prostrate, all of them together - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:31
إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ أَبَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّـٰجِدِينَ
15:31
Save Iblis. He refused to be among the prostrate. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:32
قَالَ يَـٰٓإِبْلِيسُ مَا لَكَ أَلَّا تَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّـٰجِدِينَ
15:32
He said: O Iblis! What aileth thee that thou art not among the prostrate? - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:33
قَالَ لَمْ أَكُن لِّأَسْجُدَ لِبَشَرٍ خَلَقْتَهُۥ مِن صَلْصَـٰلٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
15:33
He said: I am not one to prostrate myself unto a mortal whom Thou hast created out of potter's clay of black mud altered! - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:34
قَالَ فَٱخْرُجْ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٌ
15:34
He said: Then go thou forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:35
وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ ٱللَّعْنَةَ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ
15:35
And lo! the curse shall be upon thee till the Day of Judgment. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:36
قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرْنِىٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ
15:36
He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:37
قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْمُنظَرِينَ
15:37
He said: Then lo! thou art of those reprieved - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:38
إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْوَقْتِ ٱلْمَعْلُومِ
15:38
Till the Day of appointed time. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:39
قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَآ أَغْوَيْتَنِى لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
15:39
He said: My Lord! Because Thou hast sent me astray, I verily shall adorn the path of error for them in the earth, and shall mislead them every one, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:40
إِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنْهُمُ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ
15:40
Save such of them as are Thy perfectly devoted slaves. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:41
قَالَ هَـٰذَا صِرَٰطٌ عَلَىَّ مُسْتَقِيمٌ
15:41
He said: This is a right course incumbent upon Me: - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:42
إِنَّ عِبَادِى لَيْسَ لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَـٰنٌ إِلَّا مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ ٱلْغَاوِينَ
15:42
Lo! as for My slaves, thou hast no power over any of them save such of the froward as follow thee, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:43
وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمَوْعِدُهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
15:43
And lo! for all such, hell will be the promised place. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:44
لَهَا سَبْعَةُ أَبْوَٰبٍ لِّكُلِّ بَابٍ مِّنْهُمْ جُزْءٌ مَّقْسُومٌ
15:44
It hath seven gates, and each gate hath an appointed portion. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:45
إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى جَنَّـٰتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
15:45
Lo! those who ward off (evil) are among gardens and watersprings. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:46
ٱدْخُلُوهَا بِسَلَـٰمٍ ءَامِنِينَ
15:46
(And it is said unto them): Enter them in peace, secure. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:47
وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِى صُدُورِهِم مِّنْ غِلٍّ إِخْوَٰنًا عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مُّتَقَـٰبِلِينَ
15:47
And We remove whatever rancour may be in their breasts. As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:48
لَا يَمَسُّهُمْ فِيهَا نَصَبٌ وَمَا هُم مِّنْهَا بِمُخْرَجِينَ
15:48
Toil cometh not unto them there, nor will they be expelled from thence. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:49
۞ نَبِّئْ عِبَادِىٓ أَنِّىٓ أَنَا ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
15:49
Announce, (O Muhammad) unto My slaves that verily I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:50
وَأَنَّ عَذَابِى هُوَ ٱلْعَذَابُ ٱلْأَلِيمُ
15:50
And that My doom is the dolorous doom. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:51
وَنَبِّئْهُمْ عَن ضَيْفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ
15:51
And tell them of Abraham's guests, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:52
إِذْ دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُوا۟ سَلَـٰمًا قَالَ إِنَّا مِنكُمْ وَجِلُونَ
15:52
(How) when they came in unto him, and said: Peace. He said: Lo! we are afraid of you. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:53
قَالُوا۟ لَا تَوْجَلْ إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَـٰمٍ عَلِيمٍ
15:53
They said: Be not afraid! Lo! we bring thee good tidings of a boy possessing wisdom. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:54
قَالَ أَبَشَّرْتُمُونِى عَلَىٰٓ أَن مَّسَّنِىَ ٱلْكِبَرُ فَبِمَ تُبَشِّرُونَ
15:54
He said: Bring ye me good tidings (of a son) when old age hath overtaken me? Of what then can ye bring good tidings? - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:55
قَالُوا۟ بَشَّرْنَـٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ فَلَا تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلْقَـٰنِطِينَ
15:55
They said: We bring thee good tidings in truth. So be not thou of the despairing. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:56
قَالَ وَمَن يَقْنَطُ مِن رَّحْمَةِ رَبِّهِۦٓ إِلَّا ٱلضَّآلُّونَ
15:56
He said: And who despaireth of the mercy of his Lord save those who are astray? - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:57
قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكُمْ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ
15:57
He said: And afterward what is your business, O ye messengers (of Allah)? - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:58
قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّآ أُرْسِلْنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوْمٍ مُّجْرِمِينَ
15:58
They said: We have been sent unto a guilty folk, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:59
إِلَّآ ءَالَ لُوطٍ إِنَّا لَمُنَجُّوهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
15:59
(All) save the family of Lot. Them we shall deliver every one, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:60
إِلَّا ٱمْرَأَتَهُۥ قَدَّرْنَآ ۙ إِنَّهَا لَمِنَ ٱلْغَـٰبِرِينَ
15:60
Except his wife, of whom We had decreed that she should be of those who stay behind. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:61
فَلَمَّا جَآءَ ءَالَ لُوطٍ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ
15:61
And when the messengers came unto the family of Lot, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:62
قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّنكَرُونَ
15:62
He said: Lo! ye are folk unknown (to me). - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:63
قَالُوا۟ بَلْ جِئْنَـٰكَ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ فِيهِ يَمْتَرُونَ
15:63
They said: Nay, but we bring thee that concerning which they keep disputing, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:64
وَأَتَيْنَـٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَإِنَّا لَصَـٰدِقُونَ
15:64
And bring thee the Truth, and lo! we are truth-tellers. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:65
فَأَسْرِ بِأَهْلِكَ بِقِطْعٍ مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ وَٱتَّبِعْ أَدْبَـٰرَهُمْ وَلَا يَلْتَفِتْ مِنكُمْ أَحَدٌ وَٱمْضُوا۟ حَيْثُ تُؤْمَرُونَ
15:65
So travel with thy household in a portion of the night, and follow thou their backs. Let none of you turn round, but go whither ye are commanded. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:66
وَقَضَيْنَآ إِلَيْهِ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْأَمْرَ أَنَّ دَابِرَ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ مَقْطُوعٌ مُّصْبِحِينَ
15:66
And We made plain the case to him, that the root of them (who did wrong) was to be cut at early morn. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:67
وَجَآءَ أَهْلُ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ
15:67
And the people of the city came, rejoicing at the news (of new arrivals). - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:68
قَالَ إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ ضَيْفِى فَلَا تَفْضَحُونِ
15:68
He said: Lo! they are my guests. Affront me not! - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:69
وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَلَا تُخْزُونِ
15:69
And keep your duty to Allah, and shame me not! - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:70
قَالُوٓا۟ أَوَلَمْ نَنْهَكَ عَنِ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
15:70
They said; Have we not forbidden you from (entertaining) anyone? - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:71
قَالَ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ بَنَاتِىٓ إِن كُنتُمْ فَـٰعِلِينَ
15:71
He said: Here are my daughters, if ye must be doing (so). - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:72
لَعَمْرُكَ إِنَّهُمْ لَفِى سَكْرَتِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ
15:72
By thy life (O Muhammad) they moved blindly in the frenzy of approaching death. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:73
فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلصَّيْحَةُ مُشْرِقِينَ
15:73
Then the (Awful) Cry overtook them at the sunrise. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:74
فَجَعَلْنَا عَـٰلِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِّن سِجِّيلٍ
15:74
And We utterly confounded them, and We rained upon them stones of heated clay. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:75
إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍ لِّلْمُتَوَسِّمِينَ
15:75
Lo! therein verily are portents for those who read the signs. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:76
وَإِنَّهَا لَبِسَبِيلٍ مُّقِيمٍ
15:76
And lo! it is upon a road still uneffaced. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:77
إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
15:77
Lo! therein is indeed a portent for believers. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:78
وَإِن كَانَ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْأَيْكَةِ لَظَـٰلِمِينَ
15:78
And the dwellers in the wood indeed were evil-doers. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:79
فَٱنتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ وَإِنَّهُمَا لَبِإِمَامٍ مُّبِينٍ
15:79
So we took vengeance on them; and lo! they both are on a high-road plain to see. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:80
وَلَقَدْ كَذَّبَ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْحِجْرِ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
15:80
And the dwellers in Al-Hijr denied (Our) messengers. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:81
وَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمْ ءَايَـٰتِنَا فَكَانُوا۟ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ
15:81
And we gave them Our revelations, but they were averse to them. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:82
وَكَانُوا۟ يَنْحِتُونَ مِنَ ٱلْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا ءَامِنِينَ
15:82
And they used to hew out dwellings from the hills, (wherein they dwelt) secure. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:83
فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلصَّيْحَةُ مُصْبِحِينَ
15:83

15:84
فَمَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ
15:84

وَمَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ ۗ وَإِنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ لَـَٔاتِيَةٌ ۖ فَٱصْفَحِ ٱلصَّفْحَ ٱلْجَمِيلَ
15:85
We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is between them save with truth, and lo! the Hour is surely coming. So forgive, (O Muhammad), with a gracious forgiveness. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:86
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ ٱلْخَلَّـٰقُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
15:86
Lo! Thy Lord! He is the All-Wise Creator. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:87
وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَـٰكَ سَبْعًا مِّنَ ٱلْمَثَانِى وَٱلْقُرْءَانَ ٱلْعَظِيمَ
15:87

15:88
لَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيْنَيْكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعْنَا بِهِۦٓ أَزْوَٰجًا مِّنْهُمْ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَٱخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
15:88
Strain not thine eyes toward that which We cause some wedded pairs among them to enjoin, and be not grieved on their account, and lower thy wing (in tenderness) for the believers. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:89
وَقُلْ إِنِّىٓ أَنَا ٱلنَّذِيرُ ٱلْمُبِينُ
15:89

كَمَآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَى ٱلْمُقْتَسِمِينَ
15:90
Such as We send down for those who make division, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:91
ٱلَّذِينَ جَعَلُوا۟ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ عِضِينَ
15:91
Those who break the Qur'an into parts. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:92
فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَسْـَٔلَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
15:92
Them, by thy Lord, We shall question, every one, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:93
عَمَّا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ
15:93

15:94
فَٱصْدَعْ بِمَا تُؤْمَرُ وَأَعْرِضْ عَنِ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ
15:94

15:95
إِنَّا كَفَيْنَـٰكَ ٱلْمُسْتَهْزِءِينَ
15:95
Lo! We defend thee from the scoffers, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:96
ٱلَّذِينَ يَجْعَلُونَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَرَ ۚ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
15:96

وَلَقَدْ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ يَضِيقُ صَدْرُكَ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ
15:97

فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَكُن مِّنَ ٱلسَّـٰجِدِينَ
15:98
But hymn the praise of thy Lord, and be of those who make prostration (unto Him). - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
15:99
وَٱعْبُدْ رَبَّكَ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِيَكَ ٱلْيَقِينُ
15:99
