بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
15:1
الٓر ۚ تِلْكَ ءَايَـٰتُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ وَقُرْءَانٍ مُّبِينٍ
15:1
A. L. R. These are the Ayats of Revelation,- of a Qur'an that makes things clear. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:2
رُّبَمَا يَوَدُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَوْ كَانُوا۟ مُسْلِمِينَ
15:2
Again and again will those who disbelieve, wish that they had bowed (to Allah's will) in Islam. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:3
ذَرْهُمْ يَأْكُلُوا۟ وَيَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ وَيُلْهِهِمُ ٱلْأَمَلُ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
15:3
Leave them alone, to enjoy (the good things of this life) and to please themselves: let (false) hope amuse them: soon will knowledge (undeceive them). - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:4
وَمَآ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا وَلَهَا كِتَابٌ مَّعْلُومٌ
15:4
Never did We destroy a population that had not a term decreed and assigned beforehand. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:5
مَّا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ
15:5
Neither can a people anticipate its term, nor delay it. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:6
وَقَالُوا۟ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِى نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ ٱلذِّكْرُ إِنَّكَ لَمَجْنُونٌ
15:6
They say: "O thou to whom the Message is being revealed! truly thou art mad (or possessed)! - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:7
لَّوْ مَا تَأْتِينَا بِٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ
15:7
"Why bringest thou not angels to us if it be that thou hast the Truth?" - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:8
مَا نُنَزِّلُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَمَا كَانُوٓا۟ إِذًا مُّنظَرِينَ
15:8
We send not the angels down except for just cause: if they came (to the ungodly), behold! no respite would they have! - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:9
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا ٱلذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ لَحَـٰفِظُونَ
15:9
We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption). - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:10
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ فِى شِيَعِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
15:10
We did send messengers before thee amongst the religious sects of old: - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:11
وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
15:11
But never came a messenger to them but they mocked him. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:12
كَذَٰلِكَ نَسْلُكُهُۥ فِى قُلُوبِ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
15:12
Even so do we let it creep into the hearts of the sinners - - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:13
لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِۦ ۖ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ سُنَّةُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
15:13
That they should not believe in the (Message); but the ways of the ancients have passed away. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:14
وَلَوْ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَابًا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَظَلُّوا۟ فِيهِ يَعْرُجُونَ
15:14
Even if We opened out to them a gate from heaven, and they were to continue (all day) ascending therein, - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:15
لَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَا سُكِّرَتْ أَبْصَـٰرُنَا بَلْ نَحْنُ قَوْمٌ مَّسْحُورُونَ
15:15
They would only say: "Our eyes have been intoxicated: Nay, we have been bewitched by sorcery." - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:16
وَلَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ بُرُوجًا وَزَيَّنَّـٰهَا لِلنَّـٰظِرِينَ
15:16
It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:17
وَحَفِظْنَـٰهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْطَـٰنٍ رَّجِيمٍ
15:17
And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil: - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:18
إِلَّا مَنِ ٱسْتَرَقَ ٱلسَّمْعَ فَأَتْبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٌ مُّبِينٌ
15:18
But any that gains a hearing by stealth, is pursued by a flaming fire, bright (to see). - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:19
وَٱلْأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَـٰهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ وَأَنۢبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ مَّوْزُونٍ
15:19
And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:20
وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَـٰيِشَ وَمَن لَّسْتُمْ لَهُۥ بِرَٰزِقِينَ
15:20
And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:21
وَإِن مِّن شَىْءٍ إِلَّا عِندَنَا خَزَآئِنُهُۥ وَمَا نُنَزِّلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا بِقَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ
15:21
And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:22
وَأَرْسَلْنَا ٱلرِّيَـٰحَ لَوَٰقِحَ فَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَأَسْقَيْنَـٰكُمُوهُ وَمَآ أَنتُمْ لَهُۥ بِخَـٰزِنِينَ
15:22
And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:23
وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ نُحْىِۦ وَنُمِيتُ وَنَحْنُ ٱلْوَٰرِثُونَ
15:23
And verily, it is We Who give life, and Who give death: it is We Who remain inheritors (after all else passes away). - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:24
وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا ٱلْمُسْتَقْدِمِينَ مِنكُمْ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا ٱلْمُسْتَـْٔخِرِينَ
15:24
To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:25
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ
15:25
Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:26
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مِن صَلْصَـٰلٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
15:26
We created man from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape; - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:27
وَٱلْجَآنَّ خَلَقْنَـٰهُ مِن قَبْلُ مِن نَّارِ ٱلسَّمُومِ
15:27
And the Jinn race, We had created before, from the fire of a scorching wind. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:28
وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّى خَـٰلِقٌۢ بَشَرًا مِّن صَلْصَـٰلٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
15:28
Behold! thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man, from sounding clay from mud moulded into shape; - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:29
فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُۥ وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِى فَقَعُوا۟ لَهُۥ سَـٰجِدِينَ
15:29
"When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:30
فَسَجَدَ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ كُلُّهُمْ أَجْمَعُونَ
15:30
So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:31
إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ أَبَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّـٰجِدِينَ
15:31
Not so Iblis: he refused to be among those who prostrated themselves. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:32
قَالَ يَـٰٓإِبْلِيسُ مَا لَكَ أَلَّا تَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّـٰجِدِينَ
15:32
(Allah) said: "O Iblis! what is your reason for not being among those who prostrated themselves?" - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:33
قَالَ لَمْ أَكُن لِّأَسْجُدَ لِبَشَرٍ خَلَقْتَهُۥ مِن صَلْصَـٰلٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
15:33
(Iblis) said: "I am not one to prostrate myself to man, whom Thou didst create from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape." - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:34
قَالَ فَٱخْرُجْ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٌ
15:34
(Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here; for thou art rejected, accursed. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:35
وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ ٱللَّعْنَةَ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ
15:35
"And the curse shall be on thee till the day of Judgment." - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:36
قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرْنِىٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ
15:36
(Iblis) said: "O my Lord! give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised." - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:37
قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْمُنظَرِينَ
15:37
(Allah) said: "Respite is granted thee - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:38
إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْوَقْتِ ٱلْمَعْلُومِ
15:38
"Till the Day of the Time appointed." - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:39
قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَآ أَغْوَيْتَنِى لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
15:39
(Iblis) said: "O my Lord! because Thou hast put me in the wrong, I will make (wrong) fair-seeming to them on the earth, and I will put them all in the wrong,- - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:40
إِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنْهُمُ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ
15:40
"Except Thy servants among them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:41
قَالَ هَـٰذَا صِرَٰطٌ عَلَىَّ مُسْتَقِيمٌ
15:41
(Allah) said: "This (way of My sincere servants) is indeed a way that leads straight to Me. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:42
إِنَّ عِبَادِى لَيْسَ لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَـٰنٌ إِلَّا مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ ٱلْغَاوِينَ
15:42
"For over My servants no authority shalt thou have, except such as put themselves in the wrong and follow thee." - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:43
وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمَوْعِدُهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
15:43
And verily, Hell is the promised abode for them all! - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:44
لَهَا سَبْعَةُ أَبْوَٰبٍ لِّكُلِّ بَابٍ مِّنْهُمْ جُزْءٌ مَّقْسُومٌ
15:44
To it are seven gates: for each of those gates is a (special) class (of sinners) assigned. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:45
إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى جَنَّـٰتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
15:45
The righteous (will be) amid gardens and fountains (of clear-flowing water). - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:46
ٱدْخُلُوهَا بِسَلَـٰمٍ ءَامِنِينَ
15:46
(Their greeting will be): "Enter ye here in peace and security." - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:47
وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِى صُدُورِهِم مِّنْ غِلٍّ إِخْوَٰنًا عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مُّتَقَـٰبِلِينَ
15:47
And We shall remove from their hearts any lurking sense of injury: (they will be) brothers (joyfully) facing each other on thrones (of dignity). - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:48
لَا يَمَسُّهُمْ فِيهَا نَصَبٌ وَمَا هُم مِّنْهَا بِمُخْرَجِينَ
15:48
There no sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to leave. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:49
۞ نَبِّئْ عِبَادِىٓ أَنِّىٓ أَنَا ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
15:49
Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful; - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:50
وَأَنَّ عَذَابِى هُوَ ٱلْعَذَابُ ٱلْأَلِيمُ
15:50
And that My Penalty will be indeed the most grievous Penalty. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:51
وَنَبِّئْهُمْ عَن ضَيْفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ
15:51
Tell them about the guests of Abraham. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:52
إِذْ دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُوا۟ سَلَـٰمًا قَالَ إِنَّا مِنكُمْ وَجِلُونَ
15:52
When they entered his presence and said, "Peace!" He said, "We feel afraid of you!" - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:53
قَالُوا۟ لَا تَوْجَلْ إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَـٰمٍ عَلِيمٍ
15:53
They said: "Fear not! We give thee glad tidings of a son endowed with wisdom." - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:54
قَالَ أَبَشَّرْتُمُونِى عَلَىٰٓ أَن مَّسَّنِىَ ٱلْكِبَرُ فَبِمَ تُبَشِّرُونَ
15:54
He said: "Do ye give me glad tidings that old age has seized me? Of what, then, is your good news?" - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:55
قَالُوا۟ بَشَّرْنَـٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ فَلَا تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلْقَـٰنِطِينَ
15:55
They said: "We give thee glad tidings in truth: be not then in despair!" - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:56
قَالَ وَمَن يَقْنَطُ مِن رَّحْمَةِ رَبِّهِۦٓ إِلَّا ٱلضَّآلُّونَ
15:56
He said: "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, but such as go astray?" - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:57
قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكُمْ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ
15:57
Abraham said: "What then is the business on which ye (have come), O ye messengers (of Allah)?" - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:58
قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّآ أُرْسِلْنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوْمٍ مُّجْرِمِينَ
15:58
They said: "We have been sent to a people (deep) in sin, - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:59
إِلَّآ ءَالَ لُوطٍ إِنَّا لَمُنَجُّوهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
15:59
"Excepting the adherents of Lut: them we are certainly (charged) to save (from harm),- All - - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:60
إِلَّا ٱمْرَأَتَهُۥ قَدَّرْنَآ ۙ إِنَّهَا لَمِنَ ٱلْغَـٰبِرِينَ
15:60
"Except his wife, who, We have ascertained, will be among those who will lag behind." - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:61
فَلَمَّا جَآءَ ءَالَ لُوطٍ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ
15:61
At length when the messengers arrived among the adherents of Lut, - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:62
قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّنكَرُونَ
15:62
He said: "Ye appear to be uncommon folk." - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:63
قَالُوا۟ بَلْ جِئْنَـٰكَ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ فِيهِ يَمْتَرُونَ
15:63
They said: "Yea, we have come to thee to accomplish that of which they doubt. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:64
وَأَتَيْنَـٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَإِنَّا لَصَـٰدِقُونَ
15:64
"We have brought to thee that which is inevitably due, and assuredly we tell the truth. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:65
فَأَسْرِ بِأَهْلِكَ بِقِطْعٍ مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ وَٱتَّبِعْ أَدْبَـٰرَهُمْ وَلَا يَلْتَفِتْ مِنكُمْ أَحَدٌ وَٱمْضُوا۟ حَيْثُ تُؤْمَرُونَ
15:65
"Then travel by night with thy household, when a portion of the night (yet remains), and do thou bring up the rear: let no one amongst you look back, but pass on whither ye are ordered." - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:66
وَقَضَيْنَآ إِلَيْهِ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْأَمْرَ أَنَّ دَابِرَ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ مَقْطُوعٌ مُّصْبِحِينَ
15:66
And We made known this decree to him, that the last remnants of those (sinners) should be cut off by the morning. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:67
وَجَآءَ أَهْلُ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ
15:67
The inhabitants of the city came in (mad) joy (at news of the young men). - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:68
قَالَ إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ ضَيْفِى فَلَا تَفْضَحُونِ
15:68
Lut said: "These are my guests: disgrace me not: - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:69
وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَلَا تُخْزُونِ
15:69
"But fear Allah, and shame me not." - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:70
قَالُوٓا۟ أَوَلَمْ نَنْهَكَ عَنِ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
15:70
They said: "Did we not forbid thee (to speak) for all and sundry?" - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:71
قَالَ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ بَنَاتِىٓ إِن كُنتُمْ فَـٰعِلِينَ
15:71
He said: "There are my daughters (to marry), if ye must act (so)." - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:72
لَعَمْرُكَ إِنَّهُمْ لَفِى سَكْرَتِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ
15:72
Verily, by thy life (O Prophet), in their wild intoxication, they wander in distraction, to and fro. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:73
فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلصَّيْحَةُ مُشْرِقِينَ
15:73
But the (mighty) Blast overtook them before morning, - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:74
فَجَعَلْنَا عَـٰلِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِّن سِجِّيلٍ
15:74
And We turned (the cities) upside down, and rained down on them brimstones hard as baked clay. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:75
إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍ لِّلْمُتَوَسِّمِينَ
15:75
Behold! in this are Signs for those who by tokens do understand. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:76
وَإِنَّهَا لَبِسَبِيلٍ مُّقِيمٍ
15:76
And the (cities were) right on the high-road. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:77
إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
15:77
Behold! in this is a sign for those who believed. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:78
وَإِن كَانَ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْأَيْكَةِ لَظَـٰلِمِينَ
15:78
And the Companions of the Wood were also wrong-doers; - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:79
فَٱنتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ وَإِنَّهُمَا لَبِإِمَامٍ مُّبِينٍ
15:79
So We exacted retribution from them. They were both on an open highway, plain to see. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:80
وَلَقَدْ كَذَّبَ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْحِجْرِ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
15:80
The Companions of the Rocky Tract also rejected the messengers: - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:81
وَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمْ ءَايَـٰتِنَا فَكَانُوا۟ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ
15:81
We sent them Our Signs, but they persisted in turning away from them. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:82
وَكَانُوا۟ يَنْحِتُونَ مِنَ ٱلْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا ءَامِنِينَ
15:82
Out of the mountains did they hew (their) edifices, (feeling themselves) secure. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:83
فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلصَّيْحَةُ مُصْبِحِينَ
15:83
But the (mighty) Blast seized them of a morning, - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:84
فَمَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ
15:84
And of no avail to them was all that they did (with such art and care)! - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:85
وَمَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ ۗ وَإِنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ لَـَٔاتِيَةٌ ۖ فَٱصْفَحِ ٱلصَّفْحَ ٱلْجَمِيلَ
15:85

15:86
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ ٱلْخَلَّـٰقُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
15:86
For verily it is thy Lord who is the Master-Creator, knowing all things. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)

وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَـٰكَ سَبْعًا مِّنَ ٱلْمَثَانِى وَٱلْقُرْءَانَ ٱلْعَظِيمَ
15:87

لَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيْنَيْكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعْنَا بِهِۦٓ أَزْوَٰجًا مِّنْهُمْ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَٱخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
15:88
Strain not thine eyes. (Wistfully) at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them, nor grieve over them: but lower thy wing (in gentleness) to the believers. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
15:89
وَقُلْ إِنِّىٓ أَنَا ٱلنَّذِيرُ ٱلْمُبِينُ
15:89
And say: "I am indeed he that warneth openly and without ambiguity,"- - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)

كَمَآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَى ٱلْمُقْتَسِمِينَ
15:90
(Of just such wrath) as We sent down on those who divided (Scripture into arbitrary parts),- - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)

ٱلَّذِينَ جَعَلُوا۟ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ عِضِينَ
15:91
(So also on such) as have made Qur'an into shreds (as they please). - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)

فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَسْـَٔلَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
15:92
Therefore, by the Lord, We will, of a surety, call them to account, - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)

عَمَّا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

فَٱصْدَعْ بِمَا تُؤْمَرُ وَأَعْرِضْ عَنِ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ
15:94
Therefore expound openly what thou art commanded, and turn away from those who join false gods with Allah. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)

إِنَّا كَفَيْنَـٰكَ ٱلْمُسْتَهْزِءِينَ
15:95
For sufficient are We unto thee against those who scoff,- - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)

ٱلَّذِينَ يَجْعَلُونَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَرَ ۚ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
15:96
Those who adopt, with Allah, another god: but soon will they come to know. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)

وَلَقَدْ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ يَضِيقُ صَدْرُكَ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ

فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَكُن مِّنَ ٱلسَّـٰجِدِينَ
15:98

وَٱعْبُدْ رَبَّكَ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِيَكَ ٱلْيَقِينُ
