بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

104:1 وَيْلٌ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُّمَزَةٍ
104:1 Woe unto every slandering traducer, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

104:2 ٱلَّذِى جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ
104:2 Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

104:3 يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخْلَدَهُۥ
104:3 He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

104:4 كَلَّا ۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِى ٱلْحُطَمَةِ

104:5 وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْحُطَمَةُ
104:5 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Consuming One is! - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

104:6 نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُوقَدَةُ
104:6 (It is) the fire of Allah, kindled, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

104:7 ٱلَّتِى تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةِ

104:8 إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّؤْصَدَةٌ
