بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

104:1 وَيْلٌ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُّمَزَةٍ

Woe unto every slandering traducer,

104:2 ٱلَّذِى جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ

Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it.

104:3 يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخْلَدَهُۥ

He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal.

104:4 كَلَّا ۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِى ٱلْحُطَمَةِ

Nay, but verily he will be flung to the Consuming One.

104:5 وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْحُطَمَةُ

Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Consuming One is!

104:6 نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُوقَدَةُ

(It is) the fire of Allah, kindled,

104:7 ٱلَّتِى تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةِ

Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men).

104:8 إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّؤْصَدَةٌ

104:9 فِى عَمَدٍ مُّمَدَّدَةٍۭ
