بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
92:1
وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰ
92:1
By the night when it covers the day, - Muhammad Sarwar (English)
92:2
وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّىٰ
92:2
by the day when it appears radiant, - Muhammad Sarwar (English)
92:3
وَمَا خَلَقَ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلْأُنثَىٰٓ
92:3
and by that (Power) which created the male and female, - Muhammad Sarwar (English)
92:4
إِنَّ سَعْيَكُمْ لَشَتَّىٰ
92:4
you strive in various ways. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)
92:5
فَأَمَّا مَنْ أَعْطَىٰ وَٱتَّقَىٰ
92:5
We shall facilitate the path to bliss - Muhammad Sarwar (English)
92:6
وَصَدَّقَ بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ
92:6
for those who spend for the cause of God, - Muhammad Sarwar (English)
92:7
فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ
92:7
observe piety, and believe in receiving rewards from God. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)
92:8
وَأَمَّا مَنۢ بَخِلَ وَٱسْتَغْنَىٰ
92:8
But for those who are niggardly, horde their wealth, - Muhammad Sarwar (English)
92:9
وَكَذَّبَ بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ
92:9
and have no faith in receiving any reward (from God). - Muhammad Sarwar (English)
92:10
فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلْعُسْرَىٰ
92:10
We shall facilitate the path to affliction - Muhammad Sarwar (English)
92:11
وَمَا يُغْنِى عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥٓ إِذَا تَرَدَّىٰٓ
92:11
and their wealth will be of no benefit to them when they face destruction. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)
92:12
إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا لَلْهُدَىٰ
92:12
Surely, in Our hands is guidance, - Muhammad Sarwar (English)
92:13
وَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلْـَٔاخِرَةَ وَٱلْأُولَىٰ
92:13
and to Us belong the hereafter and the worldly life. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)
92:14
فَأَنذَرْتُكُمْ نَارًا تَلَظَّىٰ
92:14
I have warned you about the fierce blazing fire - Muhammad Sarwar (English)
92:15
لَا يَصْلَىٰهَآ إِلَّا ٱلْأَشْقَى
92:15
in which no one will suffer forever - Muhammad Sarwar (English)
92:16
ٱلَّذِى كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ
92:16
except the wicked ones who have rejected the (Truth) and have turned away from it. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)
92:17
وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَتْقَى
92:17
The pious ones who spend for the cause of God - Muhammad Sarwar (English)
92:18
ٱلَّذِى يُؤْتِى مَالَهُۥ يَتَزَكَّىٰ
92:18
and purify themselves will be safe from this fire. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)
92:19
وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِندَهُۥ مِن نِّعْمَةٍ تُجْزَىٰٓ
92:19
They do not expect any reward - Muhammad Sarwar (English)
92:20
إِلَّا ٱبْتِغَآءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ
92:20
except the pleasure of their Lord, the Most High - Muhammad Sarwar (English)
92:21
وَلَسَوْفَ يَرْضَىٰ
92:21
and the reward (of their Lord) will certainly make them happy. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)
