بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
102:1
أَلْهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ
102:1
THE AVARICE OF plenitude keeps you occupied - Ahmed Ali (English)

حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ ٱلْمَقَابِرَ
102:2
Till you reach the grave. - Ahmed Ali (English)

كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ
102:3
But you will come to know soon; -- - Ahmed Ali (English)

ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ

Indeed you will come to know soon. - Ahmed Ali (English)

كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ ٱلْيَقِينِ
102:5
And yet if you knew with positive knowledge - Ahmed Ali (English)

لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ
102:6
You have indeed to behold Hell; - Ahmed Ali (English)
102:7
ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ ٱلْيَقِينِ
102:7
Then you will see it with the eye of certainty. - Ahmed Ali (English)

ثُمَّ لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
102:8
Then on that day you will surely be asked about the verity of pleasures. - Ahmed Ali (English)
