Transliteration
Wahiduddin Khan
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
86:1
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلطَّارِقِ
86:1

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلطَّارِقُ
86:2

ٱلنَّجْمُ ٱلثَّاقِبُ
86:3

إِن كُلُّ نَفْسٍ لَّمَّا عَلَيْهَا حَافِظٌ
86:4

فَلْيَنظُرِ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ مِمَّ خُلِقَ
86:5

خُلِقَ مِن مَّآءٍ دَافِقٍ
86:6

يَخْرُجُ مِنۢ بَيْنِ ٱلصُّلْبِ وَٱلتَّرَآئِبِ
86:7

إِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ رَجْعِهِۦ لَقَادِرٌ
86:8

يَوْمَ تُبْلَى ٱلسَّرَآئِرُ
86:9
On the day when hidden thoughts shall be searched out. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
86:10
فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن قُوَّةٍ وَلَا نَاصِرٍ
86:10

وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلرَّجْعِ
86:11
By the heaven which giveth the returning rain, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
86:12
وَٱلْأَرْضِ ذَاتِ ٱلصَّدْعِ
86:12
And the earth which splitteth (with the growth of trees and plants) - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوْلٌ فَصْلٌ
86:13
Lo! this (Qur'an) is a conclusive word, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

وَمَا هُوَ بِٱلْهَزْلِ
86:14

إِنَّهُمْ يَكِيدُونَ كَيْدًا
86:15
Lo! they plot a plot (against thee, O Muhammad) - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

وَأَكِيدُ كَيْدًا
86:16

فَمَهِّلِ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ أَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَيْدًۢا
86:17
