بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

51:1 وَٱلذَّٰرِيَـٰتِ ذَرْوًا
51:1 By the dipersing winds that disperse. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:2 فَٱلْحَـٰمِلَـٰتِ وِقْرًا
51:2 And the clouds bearing a load. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:3 فَٱلْجَـٰرِيَـٰتِ يُسْرًا
51:3 And the ships that glide with ease. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:4 فَٱلْمُقَسِّمَـٰتِ أَمْرًا
51:4 And the angels who distribute the affair. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:5 إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَصَادِقٌ
51:5 Verily that wherewith ye are threatened is surely true. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:6 وَإِنَّ ٱلدِّينَ لَوَٰقِعٌ
51:6 And verily the Requital is surely to befall. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:7 وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلْحُبُكِ
51:7 By the heaven full of paths. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:8 إِنَّكُمْ لَفِى قَوْلٍ مُّخْتَلِفٍ
51:8 Verily ye are in a divided opinion. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:9 يُؤْفَكُ عَنْهُ مَنْ أُفِكَ
51:9 Turned aside therefrom is who is turned aside. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:10 قُتِلَ ٱلْخَرَّٰصُونَ
51:10 Perish the conjecturers - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:11 ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ فِى غَمْرَةٍ سَاهُونَ
51:11 Those who are in heedlessness neglectful. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:12 يَسْـَٔلُونَ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ
51:12 They ask: when is the Day of Requital coming? - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:13 يَوْمَ هُمْ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ يُفْتَنُونَ
51:13 It will be the Day whereon in the Fire they will be burned - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:14 ذُوقُوا۟ فِتْنَتَكُمْ هَـٰذَا ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
51:14 Taste your burning: this is that which ye sought to be hastened. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:15 إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى جَنَّـٰتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
51:15 Verily the God-fearing will be amid Gardens and water- springs. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:16 ءَاخِذِينَ مَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَبْلَ ذَٰلِكَ مُحْسِنِينَ
51:16 Taking that which their Lord will vouchsafe Unto hem. Verily they have been before that well-doers. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:17 كَانُوا۟ قَلِيلًا مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ مَا يَهْجَعُونَ
51:17 Little of the night they were wont to slumber. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:18 وَبِٱلْأَسْحَارِ هُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ
51:18 And in the dawns they prayed for forgiveness. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:19 وَفِىٓ أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ حَقٌّ لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَٱلْمَحْرُومِ
51:19 And in their substance was the right of the beggar and non- beggar. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:20 وَفِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ءَايَـٰتٌ لِّلْمُوقِنِينَ
51:20 And on the earth there are signs for those who would be convinced. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:21 وَفِىٓ أَنفُسِكُمْ ۚ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ
51:21 And also in Your own selves. Behold ye not? - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:22 وَفِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ رِزْقُكُمْ وَمَا تُوعَدُونَ
51:22 And in the heaven is Your provision and that which ye are promised. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:23 فَوَرَبِّ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ إِنَّهُۥ لَحَقٌّ مِّثْلَ مَآ أَنَّكُمْ تَنطِقُونَ
51:23 By the Lord of the heaven and the earth it is sure, even as it is a fact that ye are speaking. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:24 هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ضَيْفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ
51:24 Hath there come Unto thee the story of Ibrahim's honoured guests? - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:25 إِذْ دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُوا۟ سَلَـٰمًا ۖ قَالَ سَلَـٰمٌ قَوْمٌ مُّنكَرُونَ
51:25 When they came in Unto him, and said:'peace!' he said: 'peace'! - people unknown. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:26 فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦ فَجَآءَ بِعِجْلٍ سَمِينٍ
51:26 Then he turned away privately Unto his household, and brought a calf fatted. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:27 فَقَرَّبَهُۥٓ إِلَيْهِمْ قَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ
51:27 And he set it before them, and said: wherefore eat ye not? - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:28 فَأَوْجَسَ مِنْهُمْ خِيفَةً ۖ قَالُوا۟ لَا تَخَفْ ۖ وَبَشَّرُوهُ بِغُلَـٰمٍ عَلِيمٍ
51:28 Then he conceived a fear of them. They said: fear not. And they gave him the tidings of a youth knowing. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:29 فَأَقْبَلَتِ ٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ فِى صَرَّةٍ فَصَكَّتْ وَجْهَهَا وَقَالَتْ عَجُوزٌ عَقِيمٌ
51:29 Then his wife drew near vociferating, and smote her face, and said: an old barren woman! - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:30 قَالُوا۟ كَذَٰلِكِ قَالَ رَبُّكِ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
51:30 They said: even so saith thine Lords Verily He! He is the Wise, the Knower. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:31 ۞ قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكُمْ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ
51:31 He said: what then is your errand! O ye sent ones! - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:32 قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّآ أُرْسِلْنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوْمٍ مُّجْرِمِينَ
51:32 They said: verily we are sent Unto a people, guilty. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:33 لِنُرْسِلَ عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِّن طِينٍ
51:33 That we may send down upon them stones of baked clay. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:34 مُّسَوَّمَةً عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُسْرِفِينَ
51:34 Marked, from before thy Lord, for extravagant. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:35 فَأَخْرَجْنَا مَن كَانَ فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
51:35 Thus We brought forth from there in who were believers. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:36 فَمَا وَجَدْنَا فِيهَا غَيْرَ بَيْتٍ مِّنَ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ
51:36 And We found not therein more than one house of the Muslims. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:37 وَتَرَكْنَا فِيهَآ ءَايَةً لِّلَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ ٱلْعَذَابَ ٱلْأَلِيمَ
51:37 And We left therein a sign for those who fear the afflictive torment. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:38 وَفِى مُوسَىٰٓ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَـٰهُ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ بِسُلْطَـٰنٍ مُّبِينٍ
51:38 And in Musa also was a lesson, when We sent him Unto Fir'awn with authority manifest. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:39 فَتَوَلَّىٰ بِرُكْنِهِۦ وَقَالَ سَـٰحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ
51:39 Then he turned away with his court, and said: a magician or a madman. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:40 فَأَخَذْنَـٰهُ وَجُنُودَهُۥ فَنَبَذْنَـٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌ
51:40 Then We laid hold of him and his hosts and flung them into the sea, and he was reproachable. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:41 وَفِى عَادٍ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلرِّيحَ ٱلْعَقِيمَ
51:41 And in `A-ad also was a lesson, when We sent against them the barren wind. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:42 مَا تَذَرُ مِن شَىْءٍ أَتَتْ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا جَعَلَتْهُ كَٱلرَّمِيمِ
51:42 It left not aught whereon it came but it made it as matter decayed. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:43 وَفِى ثَمُودَ إِذْ قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَمَتَّعُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍ
51:43 And in Thamud's also was a lesson, when it was said Unto them: enjoy yourselves for a season. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:44 فَعَتَوْا۟ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلصَّـٰعِقَةُ وَهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ
51:44 Then they disdained the command of their Lord; wherefore the bolt laid hold of them even while they looked on. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:45 فَمَا ٱسْتَطَـٰعُوا۟ مِن قِيَامٍ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُنتَصِرِينَ
51:45 So they were not able to stand, nor could they help themselves. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:46 وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ مِّن قَبْلُ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمًا فَـٰسِقِينَ
51:46 And the people of Nuh We destroyed aforetime; verily they were a people transgressing. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:47 وَٱلسَّمَآءَ بَنَيْنَـٰهَا بِأَيْي۟دٍ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ
51:47 And the heaven! We have built it with might, and verily We are powerful. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:48 وَٱلْأَرْضَ فَرَشْنَـٰهَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْمَـٰهِدُونَ
51:48 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:49 وَمِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ خَلَقْنَا زَوْجَيْنِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ
51:49 And of every thing We have created pairs, that haply ye may remember. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:50 فَفِرُّوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ ۖ إِنِّى لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ
51:50 Flee therefore Unto Allah; verily I am Unto you from Him a warner manifest. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:51 وَلَا تَجْعَلُوا۟ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَرَ ۖ إِنِّى لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ
51:51 And set not up another god with Allah; verily I am Unto you from Him a warner manifest. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:52 كَذَٰلِكَ مَآ أَتَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا قَالُوا۟ سَاحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ
51:52 Likewise, there came not an apostle Unto those before them but they said: a magician or a madman! - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:53 أَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِهِۦ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طَاغُونَ
51:53 Have they bequeathed its Unto each other! Nay! they are a people contumacious. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:54 فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَمَآ أَنتَ بِمَلُومٍ
51:54 So turn away thou from them, not thou art blameworthy. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:55 وَذَكِّرْ فَإِنَّ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ تَنفَعُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
51:55 And admonish, for verily admonition profiteth the believers. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:56 وَمَا خَلَقْتُ ٱلْجِنَّ وَٱلْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ
51:56 And have not created the Jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:57 مَآ أُرِيدُ مِنْهُم مِّن رِّزْقٍ وَمَآ أُرِيدُ أَن يُطْعِمُونِ
51:57 I seek not any provision from them, nor I desire that they should feed Me. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:58 إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلرَّزَّاقُ ذُو ٱلْقُوَّةِ ٱلْمَتِينُ
51:58 Verily Allah! He is the Provider, Owner of power, Firm. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:59 فَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ ذَنُوبًا مِّثْلَ ذَنُوبِ أَصْحَـٰبِهِمْ فَلَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونِ
51:59 So verily Unto those who do wrong there is a portion like Unto the portion of their fellows; wherefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)

51:60 فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن يَوْمِهِمُ ٱلَّذِى يُوعَدُونَ
51:60 Woe, then, Unto those who disbelieve in their Day which they are promised. - Abdul Majid Daryabadi (English)
