بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
100:1
وَٱلْعَـٰدِيَـٰتِ ضَبْحًا
100:1
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
100:2
فَٱلْمُورِيَـٰتِ قَدْحًا
100:2
And strike sparks of fire, - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
100:3
فَٱلْمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبْحًا
100:3
And push home the charge in the morning, - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
100:4
فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِۦ نَقْعًا
100:4
And raise the dust in clouds the while, - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
100:5
فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِۦ جَمْعًا
100:5
And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
100:6
إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٌ
100:6
Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
100:7
وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ
100:7
And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
100:8
وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ
100:8
And violent is he in his love of wealth. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
100:9
۞ أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ
100:9
Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
100:10
وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ
100:10
And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
100:11
إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّخَبِيرٌۢ
100:11
That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
