بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
100:1
وَٱلْعَـٰدِيَـٰتِ ضَبْحًا
100:1
By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) - Ahmed Raza Khan (English)
100:2
فَٱلْمُورِيَـٰتِ قَدْحًا
100:2
Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. - Ahmed Raza Khan (English)
100:3
فَٱلْمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبْحًا
100:3
And by oath of those who raid at dawn. - Ahmed Raza Khan (English)
100:4
فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِۦ نَقْعًا
100:4
So thereupon raising dust. - Ahmed Raza Khan (English)
100:5
فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِۦ جَمْعًا
100:5
Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. - Ahmed Raza Khan (English)
100:6
إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٌ
100:6
Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. - Ahmed Raza Khan (English)
100:7
وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ
100:7
And indeed he himself is a witness to it. - Ahmed Raza Khan (English)
100:8
وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ
100:8
And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. - Ahmed Raza Khan (English)
100:9
۞ أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ
100:9
So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, - Ahmed Raza Khan (English)
100:10
وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ
100:10
And all what lies in the breasts is opened – - Ahmed Raza Khan (English)
100:11
إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّخَبِيرٌۢ
100:11
On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! - Ahmed Raza Khan (English)
