بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
100:1
وَٱلْعَـٰدِيَـٰتِ ضَبْحًا
100:1
I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, - Ahmed Ali (English)
100:2
فَٱلْمُورِيَـٰتِ قَدْحًا
100:2
Then those striking sparks of fire, - Ahmed Ali (English)
100:3
فَٱلْمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبْحًا
100:3
Then those charging in the morning - Ahmed Ali (English)
100:4
فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِۦ نَقْعًا
100:4
Raising clouds of dust, - Ahmed Ali (English)
100:5
فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِۦ جَمْعًا
100:5
Penetrating deep into the armies, - Ahmed Ali (English)
100:6
إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٌ
100:6
That man is ungrateful to his Lord - Ahmed Ali (English)
100:7
وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ
100:7
And is himself witness to it, - Ahmed Ali (English)
100:8
وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ
100:8
And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. - Ahmed Ali (English)
100:9
۞ أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ
100:9
Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare - Ahmed Ali (English)
100:10
وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ
100:10
And the secrets of the hearts exposed, - Ahmed Ali (English)
100:11
إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّخَبِيرٌۢ
100:11
Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). - Ahmed Ali (English)
