بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
99:1 إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا

When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion,
99:2 وَأَخْرَجَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا

Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English) :
And the earth throws up her burdens (from within),
99:3 وَقَالَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ مَا لَهَا

Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English) :
And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'-
99:4 يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا

Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English) :
On that Day will she declare her tidings:
99:5 بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا

Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English) :
For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration.
99:6 يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصْدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًا لِّيُرَوْا۟ أَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ
99:6
Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English) :
On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done).
99:7 فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُۥ
99:7
Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English) :
Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it!
99:8 وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُۥ
99:8
Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English) :
And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it.
