بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
99:1
إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا
99:1
When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
99:2
وَأَخْرَجَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا
99:2
And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
99:3
وَقَالَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ مَا لَهَا
99:3
And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
99:4
يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا
99:4
On that Day will she declare her tidings: - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
99:5
بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا
99:5
For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
99:6
يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصْدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًا لِّيُرَوْا۟ أَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ
99:6
On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done). - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)

فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُۥ
99:7
Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
99:8
وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُۥ
99:8
And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. - Abdullah Yusuf Ali (English)
