بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

55:1 ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ
55:1 The Beneficent (God) - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:2 عَلَّمَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ
55:2 has taught the Quran to (Muhammad). - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:3 خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ
55:3 He created the human being - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:4 عَلَّمَهُ ٱلْبَيَانَ
55:4 and has taught him intelligible speech. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:5 ٱلشَّمْسُ وَٱلْقَمَرُ بِحُسْبَانٍ
55:5 The sun and moon rotate in a predestined orbit. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:6 وَٱلنَّجْمُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ يَسْجُدَانِ
55:6 The plants and trees prostrate before Him. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:7 وَٱلسَّمَآءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ ٱلْمِيزَانَ
55:7 He raised the heavens and set up everything in balance, - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:8 أَلَّا تَطْغَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْمِيزَانِ
55:8 so that you would maintain justice. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:9 وَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلْوَزْنَ بِٱلْقِسْطِ وَلَا تُخْسِرُوا۟ ٱلْمِيزَانَ
55:9 Therefore, maintain just measure and do not transgress against the Balance. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:10 وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلْأَنَامِ
55:10 He spread out the earth for the people. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:11 فِيهَا فَـٰكِهَةٌ وَٱلنَّخْلُ ذَاتُ ٱلْأَكْمَامِ
55:11 There exists all kinds of fruits, palm-trees with sheathed blossoms, - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:12 وَٱلْحَبُّ ذُو ٱلْعَصْفِ وَٱلرَّيْحَانُ
55:12 grain with its husk and aromatic herbs. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:13 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:13 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you deny? - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:14 خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مِن صَلْصَـٰلٍ كَٱلْفَخَّارِ
55:14 He created the human being from clay like that used for pottery - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:15 وَخَلَقَ ٱلْجَآنَّ مِن مَّارِجٍ مِّن نَّارٍ
55:15 and jinn from the many colored flames of fire. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:16 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:16 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you deny? - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:17 رَبُّ ٱلْمَشْرِقَيْنِ وَرَبُّ ٱلْمَغْرِبَيْنِ
55:17 He is the Lord of the East and West through all seasons. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:18 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:18 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:19 مَرَجَ ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيَانِ
55:19 He has made the two oceans meet each other, - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:20 بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخٌ لَّا يَبْغِيَانِ
55:20 but has created a barrier between them so that they will not merge totally. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:21 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:21 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:22 يَخْرُجُ مِنْهُمَا ٱللُّؤْلُؤُ وَٱلْمَرْجَانُ
55:22 From the two oceans comes pearls and coral. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:23 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:23 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:24 وَلَهُ ٱلْجَوَارِ ٱلْمُنشَـَٔاتُ فِى ٱلْبَحْرِ كَٱلْأَعْلَـٰمِ
55:24 By His command, the ships with raised masts sail on the sea like mountains. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:25 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:25 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:26 كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٍ
55:26 Everyone on earth is destined to die. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:27 وَيَبْقَىٰ وَجْهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو ٱلْجَلَـٰلِ وَٱلْإِكْرَامِ
55:27 Only the Supreme Essence of your Glorious and Gracious Lord will remain forever. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:28 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:28 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:29 يَسْـَٔلُهُۥ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ هُوَ فِى شَأْنٍ
55:29 Everyone in the heavens and the earth depends on Him. His task in preserving His creation is continuous. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:30 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:30 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:31 سَنَفْرُغُ لَكُمْ أَيُّهَ ٱلثَّقَلَانِ
55:31 Jinn and mankind, We shall certainly settle your accounts. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:32 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:32 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:33 يَـٰمَعْشَرَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلْإِنسِ إِنِ ٱسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَن تَنفُذُوا۟ مِنْ أَقْطَارِ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ فَٱنفُذُوا۟ ۚ لَا تَنفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلْطَـٰنٍ
55:33 Jinn and mankind, if you can penetrate the diameters of the heavens and the earth, do so, but you cannot do so without power and authority. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:34 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:34 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:35 يُرْسَلُ عَلَيْكُمَا شُوَاظٌ مِّن نَّارٍ وَنُحَاسٌ فَلَا تَنتَصِرَانِ
55:35 Flames of fire and molten brass will be released against you and you will not be able to protect yourselves. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:36 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:36 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:37 فَإِذَا ٱنشَقَّتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتْ وَرْدَةً كَٱلدِّهَانِ
55:37 (On the Day of Judgment) when the heavens are rent asunder they will have a flowery color and flow like oil. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:38 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:38 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:39 فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَّا يُسْـَٔلُ عَن ذَنۢبِهِۦٓ إِنسٌ وَلَا جَآنٌّ
55:39 On that day there will be no need to ask mankind or jinn about his sin - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:40 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:40 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:41 يُعْرَفُ ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ بِسِيمَـٰهُمْ فَيُؤْخَذُ بِٱلنَّوَٰصِى وَٱلْأَقْدَامِ
55:41 The guilty ones will be recognized by their faces and will be seized by their forelocks and feet. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:42 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:42 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:43 هَـٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِى يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ
55:43 (The guilty ones will be told), "This is hell which the sinful ones denied". - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:44 يَطُوفُونَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ حَمِيمٍ ءَانٍ
55:44 They will run around in blazing fire and boiling water. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:45 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:45 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:46 وَلِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ جَنَّتَانِ
55:46 Those who fear their Lord will have two gardens - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:47 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:47 (jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:48 ذَوَاتَآ أَفْنَانٍ
55:48 full of various trees. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:49 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:49 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:50 فِيهِمَا عَيْنَانِ تَجْرِيَانِ
55:50 In the two gardens there will be two flowing springs. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:51 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:51 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors would you then deny? - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:52 فِيهِمَا مِن كُلِّ فَـٰكِهَةٍ زَوْجَانِ
55:52 In them there are pairs of each kind of fruit. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:53 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:53 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:54 مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ فُرُشٍۭ بَطَآئِنُهَا مِنْ إِسْتَبْرَقٍ ۚ وَجَنَى ٱلْجَنَّتَيْنِ دَانٍ
55:54 (The dwellers of Paradise) will recline on couches lined with silk brocade and it will be easy to reach the ripe fruits from the two gardens. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:55 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:55 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:56 فِيهِنَّ قَـٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرْفِ لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَآنٌّ
55:56 There will be bashful maidens untouched by mankind or jinn before. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:57 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:57 jinn and mankindîwhich of the favors of your Lord would you then deny - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:58 كَأَنَّهُنَّ ٱلْيَاقُوتُ وَٱلْمَرْجَانُ
55:58 who are as beautiful as rubies and pearls. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:59 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:59 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:60 هَلْ جَزَآءُ ٱلْإِحْسَـٰنِ إِلَّا ٱلْإِحْسَـٰنُ
55:60 Can any thing else be a response to a favor but a favor? - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:61 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:61 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:62 وَمِن دُونِهِمَا جَنَّتَانِ
55:62 Besides this, there will be two other gardens. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:63 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:63 - jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:64 مُدْهَآمَّتَانِ
55:64 - dark green in color. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:65 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:65 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:66 فِيهِمَا عَيْنَانِ نَضَّاخَتَانِ
55:66 In these there will also be two springs gushing forth. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:67 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:67 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:68 فِيهِمَا فَـٰكِهَةٌ وَنَخْلٌ وَرُمَّانٌ
55:68 In both gardens there will be fruits, palm-trees, and pomegranates - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:69 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:69 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:70 فِيهِنَّ خَيْرَٰتٌ حِسَانٌ
55:70 There will be well-disciplined, beautiful maidens. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:71 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:71 - jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:72 حُورٌ مَّقْصُورَٰتٌ فِى ٱلْخِيَامِ
55:72 - with big, black and white beautiful eyes, dwelling in tents. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:73 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:73 - jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:74 لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَآنٌّ
55:74 - untouched by jinn or mankind before. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:75 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:75 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:76 مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ رَفْرَفٍ خُضْرٍ وَعَبْقَرِىٍّ حِسَانٍ
55:76 They will be reclining on plain green and beautifully printed cushions - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:77 فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:77 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? - Muhammad Sarwar (English)

55:78 تَبَـٰرَكَ ٱسْمُ رَبِّكَ ذِى ٱلْجَلَـٰلِ وَٱلْإِكْرَامِ
55:78 Blessed is the Name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Grace. - Muhammad Sarwar (English)
