بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

77:1 وَٱلْمُرْسَلَـٰتِ عُرْفًا
77:1 By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:2 فَٱلْعَـٰصِفَـٰتِ عَصْفًا
77:2 By the raging hurricanes, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:3 وَٱلنَّـٰشِرَٰتِ نَشْرًا
77:3 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:4 فَٱلْفَـٰرِقَـٰتِ فَرْقًا
77:4 By those who winnow with a winnowing, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:5 فَٱلْمُلْقِيَـٰتِ ذِكْرًا
77:5 By those who bring down the Reminder, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:6 عُذْرًا أَوْ نُذْرًا
77:6 To excuse or to warn, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:7 إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَٰقِعٌ
77:7 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:8 فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ
77:8 So when the stars are put out, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:9 وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتْ
77:9 And when the sky is riven asunder, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:10 وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ
77:10 And when the mountains are blown away, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:11 وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ
77:11 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:12 لِأَىِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ
77:12 For what day is the time appointed? - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:13 لِيَوْمِ ٱلْفَصْلِ
77:13 For the Day of Decision. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:14 وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ
77:14 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:15 وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
77:15 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:16 أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
77:16 Destroyed We not the former folk, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:17 ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ
77:17 Then caused the latter folk to follow after? - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:18 كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
77:18 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:19 وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
77:19 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:20 أَلَمْ نَخْلُقكُّم مِّن مَّآءٍ مَّهِينٍ
77:20 Did We not create you from a base fluid - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:21 فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُ فِى قَرَارٍ مَّكِينٍ
77:21 Which We laid up in a safe abode - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:22 إِلَىٰ قَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ
77:22 For a known term? - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:23 فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْقَـٰدِرُونَ
77:23 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging! - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:24 وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
77:24 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:25 أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا
77:25 Have We not made the earth a receptacle - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:26 أَحْيَآءً وَأَمْوَٰتًا
77:26 Both for the living and the dead, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:27 وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ شَـٰمِخَـٰتٍ وَأَسْقَيْنَـٰكُم مَّآءً فُرَاتًا
77:27 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:28 وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
77:28 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:29 ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ
77:29 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:30 ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّ ذِى ثَلَـٰثِ شُعَبٍ
77:30 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:31 لَّا ظَلِيلٍ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ
77:31 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:32 إِنَّهَا تَرْمِى بِشَرَرٍ كَٱلْقَصْرِ
77:32 Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:33 كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَـٰلَتٌ صُفْرٌ
77:33 (Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:34 وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
77:34 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:35 هَـٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ
77:35 This is a day wherein they speak not, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:36 وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ
77:36 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:37 وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
77:37 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:38 هَـٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ۖ جَمَعْنَـٰكُمْ وَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
77:38 This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:39 فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌ فَكِيدُونِ
77:39 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:40 وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
77:40 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:41 إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى ظِلَـٰلٍ وَعُيُونٍ
77:41 Lo! those who kept their duty are amid shade and fountains, - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:42 وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ
77:42 And fruits such as they desire. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:43 كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
77:43 (Unto them it is said:) Eat, drink and welcome, O ye blessed, in return for what ye did. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:44 إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
77:44 Thus do We reward the good. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:45 وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
77:45 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:46 كُلُوا۟ وَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجْرِمُونَ
77:46 Eat and take your ease (on earth) a little. Lo! ye are guilty. - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:47 وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
77:47 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:48 وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱرْكَعُوا۟ لَا يَرْكَعُونَ
77:48 When it is said unto them: Bow down, they bow not down! - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:49 وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
77:49 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)

77:50 فَبِأَىِّ حَدِيثٍۭ بَعْدَهُۥ يُؤْمِنُونَ
77:50 In what statement, after this, will they believe? - Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (English)
